INTERNAL COMPLINTS COMMITTEE
The Anti-Ragging Cell has been functioning in accordance to the “UGC Regulation on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009”. Any disorderly conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act, which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or a junior student, is considered as ragging and is an punishable act. Through the Anti Ragging Cell, a committee has been formed to ensure that no ragging or similar activities are evident in the institution. The institution strictly insists on maintaining a ragging free campus for the students and hence a zero tolerance approach is implemented against ragging and other offensive activities. The cell focuses on creating awareness about the consequences of ragging and addresses the issues based on the complaints and through regular surveillance.
